The Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC) Institute of Pathology offers an extensive diagnostic menu of laboratory tests from the most basic blood chemistry and cell count to the most comprehensive and complex molecular cancer and infectious disease testing.

The institute has undergone a period of expansion, development, and advancement. Our group of highly knowledgeable and trained Pathologists, Medical technologists, and laboratory staff enable us to rise above the current global situation.

What We Do

Here at the CGHMC Institute of Pathology, you will find state of the art anatomical and clinical laboratory equipment for basic and advanced testing such as immunohistochemistry, Genexpert, Multiplex PCR Film-array, BD Max, and Idylla oncogenic platform, to name a few. 

We are one of the earliest institutions in the Philippines to set-up a molecular testing laboratory for viral isolation and identification for Covid-19 PCR testing. We provide fast and reliable results for our patient's recovery and lessen their stay in the hospital.
